Biography
Ahmed Al Sayed Al Refaei is currently working at Al Masraf (Arab Bank for Investment and Foreign Trade) as Chief Operating Officer.
In his scope of work he is covering the following departments -Information Technology, Information Security, Operations, Trade Finance, E-Channels and Branches.
Prior to this role, he was the Group Head of Shared Services & Retail Commercial Gulf Centralization for NBAD. He has had over 27 years’ experience in financial institution, covering areas such as retail, corporate lending specifically syndication, treasury operations, Islamic treasury operations, structured products and derivatives operations, trade finance operations and retails operations. He has handled major projects, such as systems implementations for operations and core system; ISO certifications, process reengineering and change management.
Ahmed Al Refaei has a MBA from Chifley Business School Australia/Abu Dhabi.
