Mr. René Pongratz

Biography

René completed his studies in Computer Science and has worked in IT for more than 20 years as a Software Developer, Consultant, Trainer, Project Manager and professional Software Architect across various industries. In 2018, he joined adorsys as a member of the board and assumed responsibility for Commercial Operations as Vice President in 2021.

His focus in new customer acquisition mainly relates to

· Open Banking EU with a focus on PSD2

· API / Platform business in the financial industry

· Component-based IT architecture

Through memberships in renowned boards, such as The Berlin Group, SFTI and others, René built up an invaluable international network in the financial industry.

As an API evangelist he supports new markets in and outside of Europe to adopt a new mindset for Digital Transformation.
