Biography

I have passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA ) exam from Delaware State, USA, and I am a Project Management Professional (PMP) sine 2012 with a solid and diverse experience in leading multinational firms.

I have gained a total working experience of about 19 years, 13 in banking (Mainly Citibank and ABC bank), and 3 in audit (Deloitte) and 3-project management at USAID.

I am currently the CFO of bank ABC Jordan and sit on Jordan Association for Management Accountants (JAMA) board, an affiliate of IMA. Throughout my professional career, I developed a unique blend of professional experience, skills and knowledge, covering countries in MENA region and having worked on several ERP projects throughout my career.

My career started with Deloitte, one of the big four auditing companies where I worked on several engagements spanning multiple industries and businesses; this provided me with world-class experience and technical skills in accounting, audit and finance. I then held leadership positions with Citibank and became the deputy CFO in UAE while holding the position of deputy MENA product controller. Later I became the CFO of Jordan and Iraq business; my experience with Citi gave me the opportunity to capitalize on my technical expertise, develop my experience in banking and finance, and further refine my corporate leadership skills at an executive level. I also joined USAID tourism development project, which gave me a strong understanding of public-private partnership and cooperation along with skills in liaising with government institutions as well as bringing together and facilitating projects that involve a wide range of stakeholders.
